Busforsale.com was formed in 1997 by John Spellings, who at that time had a 22-year career in the bus industry. That career involved a twelve year stint with the Trailways Corporation, ownership of a charter tour company, a consulting position with the purchaser of Greyhound Lines and Trailways, developer and partner in the Greyhound Charter Service franchise, and owner and operator of an independent charter coach company, and finally owner of an entertainer custom coach leasing company. Spellings has owned and operated every type of bus available to the North American market.

Busforsale.com is designed much like the real estate industry, which means Busforsale.com, llc. is a broker of buses. We do not own any of the inventory, and we do not take trade-ins. We focus on selling you the "right" bus, without the distraction of selling you "our" bus.
